The project
The problem
Wanderstar Creatives is a music marketing and PR agency working across Toronto, Dubai and London. Their Wix site was hard to update and couldn’t show their campaigns properly. They wanted a site that looked like their brand, and they wanted to publish to it themselves.
What I built
A custom site with a simple editor behind it. The team adds campaigns, stats and case studies on their own, and previews every change before it goes live.
Every release now becomes a page Google can find.
Every release helps them get found
A PR agency’s own press releases are its best chance of ranking on Google. Now the team writes one and hits publish, and the site does the rest: it creates the page, adds it to the list search engines read, and labels it so Google knows what it is. Test versions of the site stay hidden from search, so only the real one shows up.
More than a website
Leaving Wix meant moving the domain and email too. I moved the domain without interrupting their Google Workspace email, and finished the email security setup that had been left half done, which helps keep their messages out of spam folders. I also set up their mailing-list signups on a platform with a free tier they can grow into.
Theirs to run
Wanderstar own their content, their domain and their mailing list. Nothing on the site depends on me to keep working.
