The project

One product, two ways in

Travellers can plan a trip on InstaHop’s own site. Tourism boards can also add the same planner to their websites, where it shows their destination and their listings.

The InstaHop planner: a four-day Paris itinerary with timed activities and restaurants down one side and a map of the stops beside it.

Two lines of code

A partner pastes two lines into their site and gets a planner for their destination. Every partner loads the same widget, so a fix or a new feature reaches all of them at once, and nobody has to update anything.

A five-step diagram: Connect to a PMS, CRS or GDS; Trigger on a new reservation; Deliver by email, SMS or app; Engage through book and reserve; Track live via PartnerHub.

Where it runs

Visit Dubai, Visit Saudi, Visit Abu Dhabi, Visit Anaheim, Colorado.com, Uzbekistan Travel and AutoRentals all run it. Tourism boards have strict websites, cookie banners and release schedules, so the widget has to fit in without causing problems.

The InstaHop PartnerHub dashboard: widget traffic over time, with opens, plans created, sign-ups and a conversion rate.

A good guest

The widget is kept small so it doesn’t slow down the partner’s page. Maps, itineraries and drag-to-reorder plans all run inside it.

An acquisition report breaking traffic down by source: direct link, website widget, mobile app, kiosk and email, with users, bookings and conversion for each.

The embed

Two tags and a key

Partners paste in two tags and their key. Updates reach every partner at once, with nothing for them to install.
